NED JAROUDI
Ned is a seasoned executive with a unique, cross-border experience of successfully setting up and managing new divisions and functions for multinationals (Amazon, Intel, CA), startups (1776, Zawya), family firms (National Holding), and government (UAE Prime Minister’s Office, Expo 2020), focusing on business growth, brand building, and innovation. He is currently a Partner at Lacnor. He has always been a strong believer in entrepreneurship and education as engines for socio-economic development and was leading startup programs for Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Middle East and North Africa. He previously launched and led 1776 Dubai, the first international tech incubator in the Middle East, in partnership with the Dubai Future Foundation. He also drove impactful development programs in the Arab world such as Intel® Teach for K-12 teachers and hosted an ‘Internet Education’ radio show in Dubai for a number of years. Ned also gives back to the community by mentoring high-impact startups and SME’s and has served as Executive Board Member, United Nations ICT Arab Task Force; Board Member, Young Arab Leaders; Founding President, Stanford UAE Alumni Club; and Steering Committee Member, in5 Tech Innovation Centre. He holds an M.S. from Stanford University, a B.S. from Northeastern University, and a management certificate from INSEAD.
