With the UAE being the first Arab nation to launch an interplanetary mission, Young Arab Leaders (YAL) and Darwinbox, Asia’s fastest growing HR Technology, were delighted to welcome Omran Sharaf, Project Director of the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) at the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC), to host the latest YAL Executive Meetup attended by our YAL Members.

During the talk, Omran shared details of taking on a mission that usually takes up to 12 years to accomplish but completing it in 6 years instead with a hope that this mission would help build a knowledge-based economy for the UAE. This mission also goes beyond the space sector and serves as a catalyst for bigger objectives that aim to inspire the Arab youth that anything is possible and achievable.
