Abu Dhabi, UAE - 6 August 2018: Young Arab Leaders (YAL), non-profit organization, supported NXplorers Training Programme organized by Emirates Foundation in partnership with Shell. NXplorers is an innovative educational programme that is focusing to tackle complex challenges. It was held for the first time in the UAE under Emirates Foundation's Kafa'at program at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, 4-6 August 2018.

Thirty youth participants from UAE were passed through explore, create and change stages where they split into groups and used the toolkit to apply thinking skills to create ideas & solutions. They were also excited to develop their problem-solving skills by implementing the programme's learning methodologies including systems thinking, scenario planning and theory of change.

Kafa'at targets Emirati Nationals, males and females, aged from 18 to 28 years old.

The Emirates Foundation’s Kafa'at program aims to encourage youth to join the private sector by helping them become ‘job ready’. It provides leadership and knowledge skills about enterprises through training, mentoring and internships.

YAL will continue supporting various initiatives by Emirates Foundation. Next week, YAL will be supporting Shabab summer camp by hosting two workshops on leadership and vision.
