Tariq Al Gurg, CEO of Dubai Cares, was joined by Members of Young Arab Leaders in a closed Power Lunch last March 19, 2014 at Capital Club-DIFC, Dubai, UAE.
He discussed the importance of forging partnerships & being strategically positioned globally for effective program implementation. The theme “Effective Partnerships in Development & Philanthropy” highlighted the importance & usefulness of forging partnerships–coming out of the cheque-writing model to forging long-term partnerships, partnership as opposed to the sub-contractor model, information flows more efficient & with higher efficacy; role of monitoring, evaluation & learning–in terms of contributing to results & evidence, hence impact, M&E acts to cross cut across thematics & partners, it binds the partnership model together.
