Executive Meetup is a series of casual meetings organized by Young Arab Leaders to encourage knowledge exchange between YAL exclusive members hosted by prominent executive leaders such as Osman Sultan in the UAE who share their insights and what the future holds for certain industries.
About the Speaker:
Osman Sultan is the CEO of the Telecommunication Company, Du. Since his joining in January 2006, he has led the company to an annual revenue of 13 Billion Dirhams, making Du the biggest telecommunication company in the Middle Eastern region. Osman has over 30 years’ experience in the field of telecommunications across MENA, Europe and North America. Prior to Du, he worked for the Egypt’s biggest telecommunication company Mobilin. He is known for his public speaking skills which gave him the platform to share his knowledge and expertise and professional experience in different regional and international forums. Osman has also contributed in mentoring a number of telecommunication pioneers to take leadership positions in major telecommunication companies around the world, who are now top CEOs.
Osman received a number of awards including:
- Selected as one of the top 100 CEOs in the global telecom industry in 2010 and 2011
- Best CEO Award for 2015Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship at a ceremony to celebrate the Asian Entrepreneurship Awards of the Year 2015
