RAK Incubator and Accelerator hosted the latest edition of Startup Weekend Ras Al Khaimah over the weekend on October 12-14, 2017 with Young Arab Leaders as proud Platinum Partner. Representing YAL during the event were Board Member Ned Jaroudi as Judge, Executive Director Nabra Al Busaidi as Mentor, and Community Manager Jennifer Mapa as a Member of the organizing team.

Startup Weekend

SW is a global grassroots movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community involving 210,000 passionate entrepreneurs with over 1800 past events in 135 countries around the world as of 2016. This 54 hour event of No Talk. All Action was held over 3 days. At the end of the final day, teams demo their prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts.
